I get My Booty Whooped
'Wakey Wakey! Rise and Shine, Newbie!' A male voice said.
'No!' I moaned, my eyes squeezed tightly shut. I rolled over, my face firmly pressed against my pillow.
'But you'll be late for Class! We have defensive Ed Together, first period, with Mr.Dur. I'll walk you down, if you'd like'
He sounded friendly enough. Why not?
I flopped onto my back and opened one eye.
'And you are...?'
'I'm Alejandro. Alejandro Perry. But you can call me Ali. Everybody does.' He winked at me, his wide brown eyes glistening.
'Isn't Alejandro a Spanish name? You don't sound very Spanish' I muttered, rubbing at my eyes and forcing myself upright.
'That's because i'm from Newcastle! My mother was Portugese, see...'
I noted he said "Was" rather than "Is". I looked at him properly for the first time, and felt myself blush.
Looming over me was a boy around my age, 14 or 15, with tousled shiny dark brown hair, a perfect tan and a tall muscular physique.
'Okay. Just give me a minute to get ready' I said.
'Sure'

You may be wondering, whats this book even about?
Well,it's about a girl who accidently sets a boys hair on fire using only her mind (This skill is known as PyroKinesis, according to my dear friend, Wikipedia.)
and, like in Harry Potter, someone is sent to get her to take her to a special school. But not for wizards. Oh no. This school is for superheroes.
